Everything that has to do
with fun and games and which makes university-life even more
worth while, falls into the department for culture, recreation
and sports.
Like every year, the department
S-1 organizes our inimitable Open-Air-Party in the inner courtyard
in May/June 2007 and this occasion should not be missed. Of
course our wish is to celebrate together with professors,
employees and students at this event, but also externals and
our alumni. Our Open-Air-Party in 2006 was a great success
with a hungarian live-band, followed by DJ S'ARC, a well known
DJ in the club scene of Budapest. Cocktails and barbecue were
also prepared by our students.
Furthermore, our climbing
weekend to the Köhegy Hill (one of the hills aroud Budapest)
takes place every year in October, so that the new students
can get to know each other, has been organized by the department
of culture, recreation and sports. After a long day's hike,
students stop in at the hut on Köhegy, where a large
pot of kettle goulash is prepared and the evening is rounded
off by a little party.
The department of culture
is in charge of the rooms belonging to the Students Council
on the university property (office, chillout lounge).
The department of culture,
recreation and sports prepares the reception of new students
at the beginning of each academic year.
When parties and other events
are organised, the department of culture, recreation and sports
coordinates the project units and aids them for the purpose
of self-help.

Das head of division for
culture secures the maintenance of databases concerning his/her
department and ensures that internal information is collected
and distributed.
The department of culture,
recreation and sports coordinates the content and frequent
updates of the departmental pages on the student council's
homepage.
